Use
Drotaverine is an antispasmodic drug, used to enhance cervical dilation during childbirth. It relieves pain due to smooth muscle spasm like menstrual pain, pain due to kidney stone, pain due to biliary stone and gastro-intestinal colicky pain.
Common Side Effect
The most frequent side-effects were a transitory decrease in blood pressure, Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Headache.
Class of Drug - Antispasmodic Drug (selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterase 4)
Route of Administration - Oral, Intravenous, Intramuscular
Bioavailability - Highly variable (~65%), Peak at 45–60 minutes
Biological Half Life - 7–16 Hours
Excretion - More than 50% in Urine & ~30% in Bile.

MEFENAMIC ACID 250 MG
Use
Mefenamic acid is used to treat mild to moderate pain, including menstrual pain and is sometimes used to prevent Migraines associated with menstruation.
Common Side Effect
Stomach pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Heartburn, Constipation, Diarrhea, Rash, Dizziness.
Precaution
Precaution should be taken by patients with Asthma, Renal & Hepatic impairment.
