Use
Bisacodyl is used in the treatment of Constipation by preventing dry and hard stools. It directly increases the motility of the intestine, thereby making the stool soft and easier to pass.
Common Side Effect
Dehydration, Diarrhea, Nausea & vomiting.
Precaution
Bisacodyl may cause serious dehydration, it is advised that Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent dehydration. It may also cause the presence of blood in stool, immediate consult with your doctor in case of any excessive rectal bleeding.
