Use
Darbepoetin Alfa is used to treat Anemia (a lower than normal number of red blood cells), commonly associated with Chronic Renal Failure and Cancer Chemotherapy.
Common Side Effect
Headache, Body aches, Stomach pain, Cough, Skin rash or redness, Diarrhea, Injection site reactions (pain, bruising, swelling, warmth, redness, oozing, or bleeding).

Precaution
Darbepoetin alfa may sometimes cause or worsen high blood pressure, especially in patients with long-term kidney failure.
