With a vast experience of above three decades, Dr. KK Kapoor is an eminent Cardiologist associated with the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. With degrees of MBBS from the MAMC in New Delhi, MD (Medicine), & DM (Cardiology), both from the PGI in Chandigarh. A pioneer in introducing Dobutamine Stress Echo in Delhi in the year 1990, Dr. KK Kapoor has many other ‘firsts’ to his credit. He Introduced the Foetal Echocardiogram in 1990, the Renal Artery Doppler in 1990, Penile Doppler in 1996, and the Adenosine Stress Echo at the Apollo Hospital in 2004. An expert in performing various Non-Invasive Cardiology procedures, including Echocardiography, Color Doppler, Carotid & Vascular Doppler, TMT, Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo, TEE, 3-D Echo, and Speckle Imaging. With more than 60 publications in several leading peer-reviewed national & international journals and several chapters in textbooks of Echocardiography & Cardiology.
