Dr. Somalaram Venkatesh is an alumnus of the prestigious PGI, Chandigarh. He did his MD and DM in Cardiology and has been a topper and a recipient of First Order Medal. He has a rich experience of working as consultant cardiologist at various hospitals. He has performed over 8000 diagnostic catheterizations & over 2500 interventional procedures in the catheterization laboratory.
He specializes in all types of Coronary Angioplasties including Primary & Complex coronary interventions like Bifurcations, Total occlusions, Graft Angioplasties etc. His area of special interest is in Central peripheral interventions like Aortic Stent Grafting for both Thoracic & Abdominal aorta for Dissections & Aneurysms.
He is an expert in performing complex coronary angioplasties,  peripheral Interventions and specializes in treating heart attacks.
