Dr. Bhupen N Desai is a Mumbai-based Consultant Cardiologist with wide experience, He is an expert in Angiography and Angioplasty via the Radial (wrist) route. He specialises in treating High Blood Pressure, Diabetes and Heart Disease.  He is proficient in medical management of patients not going in for Angioplasty or Bypass Surgery. Dr. Desai has performed several thousand 2D Echocardiographic studies including Colour Doppler, Neonatal, Pediatric, Portable and Dobutamine Stress Echo studies. The number of cardiac interventional procedures (Coronary Angiography & Angioplasty, Pacemaker etc) that he has performed also runs into the thousands.
Besides having regularly travelled to various international conferences related to his area of work, Dr. Desai also has contributed to medical journals. He is a life member of various councils and associations and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
