He passed the MD postgraduate examination with a Gold Medal as well. He trained in Diabetes at renowned world institutions such as Joslin Diabetes Center (Boston) & Steno Diabetes Center (Denmark), completing a Diploma in Advanced Diabetology from the latter institution.
